2009 Annual Meeting
The AIA Washington Council holds an annual business meeting every November. This meeting is an important opportunity for leadership to reflect on the last year, set the priorities for the upcoming year and learn about issues that affect architects statewide. Members who attend build connections that allow them to work better together and improve our ability to advocate at the state level.
Each local component is appointed a number of delegates, to vote on financial and organizational issues that govern AIA Washington Council, based on the size of their membership. Serving as a delegate provides an opportunity to expose potential new leadership to important legislative topics, the workings of the AIA Washington Council and provides a first step in greater activity at the local, state, regional and national levels.
