Every day, AIA Washington Council members create the places where people live and learn, work and play. We design homes, hospitals and colleges to enhance our quality of life and create next generation energy-saving buildings to make our communities healthier and safer. All the while, architects work with clients and allied professionals to improve the built environment and contribute to our economy.

Widely respected, architects are in a unique position to affect policy change in the areas that matter most to our profession: taxes and state funding, practice issues, codes, climate and sustainability, livable communities and more. But we need architects to participate in state government to ensure our collective voice is heard.

Your membership in AIA connects you to architects across the state who are interested in engaging with policymakers to further the profession and positively impact our communities. Whatever your professional interests, there is a place for you at AIA Washington Council. Join us.
